I was born late 1986 in south east asia. At age 6 my friend Akiko introduced me to drawing and I began to draw my favorite animes regularly. Eventually the time came for us to move the States. My transition to living in a new country was easy, it was going to school that was stressful. I resorted to drawing as my favorite past time, and it kept me occupied.

1996 we got our first computer, a Hewlett Packard with 1.2 GB Hard-drive and 144 Mhz Processor. We were being taught how to type, using MACs at school, and with dad buying internet service, I quickly became addicted to the net. I created my first website at age eleven. I later stumbled upon O.C.A.D. (Online Comic Artist Directory) where the world of art became more accessable. At age twelve I decided upon the alias Jynko as my identity on the internet.

May 14, 2002 I bought my first permanent domain address www.jynko.com. Early 2001 I began to do portraits, worked towards realism, and made a conscious effort to progress into more detailed, complex art. Mid 2003 I bought Xephas:

In 2005 I graduated from a private christian highscool. June 6th I bought my very first Intuos tablet, an Intuos3 6x8. I thank God for everything He's done for me, for all the opportunities that He gives to me, and all the positive influential people that have crossed my path. I credit my love for art to Him, and I plan to make this my career.
